As their construction materials are grown in nature, coloured with natural dyes, the pattern and colouring may differ from the web image. These are not product defects, rather features that make each rug individual. It is part of the normal characteristics of these rugs to shed fibres, this is most likely to take place in the first few months of use. If strands arear it is important not to pull them, this can cause damage. The solution is to carefully trim longer strands with sharp scissors. The product images on the website may differ from the products you receive due to variations in electronic screens settings. While all efforts are made to ensure consistency, slight variations in tension can occur due to the manufacturing process when working with natural fibres, each of which have individual characteristics. Dye absorption, tension and colour variance may vary due to the traditional methods used by the craftspeople, who use pigments extracted from natural materials such as plants or minerals. The weight, height, thickness and density of the fibres may also add more unique features. These rugs have been handcrafted with a 3 - 4% size variance allowance, therefore the dimensions of these rugs may vary within a few centimetres of the exact length and width noted on the specification table.
